Yacht charter in the Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza
The island of Mallorca offers some of the finest sailing in the Mediterranean. Charter a yacht for a day, a week or longer and explore the islands of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera in the way they should be experienced. Under sail.
It is hard to imagine anything more idyllic than setting out from Mallorca in a sailing yacht, cruising along the coast to a deserted bay, dropping anchor for lunch and a swim, and then leaving in the mid-afternoon to catch the sea breeze and race back to harbour for dinner
Ideal for yacht charter
Mallorca is a perfect destination for yacht charter. There are convenient flights to Palma from every major airport in the UK, and the prices are reasonable. Within a short distance of the major sailing charter centres are a plethora of harbours, marinas, anchorages and old towns. The weather is Mediterranean, with clear blue skies, bright sunshine and a regular afternoon breeze to help give you a real sense of fun.
There's more than just the sailing though. The wildlife is a major attraction. Mallorca is great place for bird-watchers and the waters around Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza are home to many dolphins. The Balearics also have great food (with seafood an obvious speciality) and a rich and varied history encompassing Moors, the Spanish, the French, the British and many other cultures.
I've been sailing for 20 years, spent an entire summer cruising the Mediterranean and keep my yacht Tripitaka in Puerto Alcudia in the north-eastern corner of Mallorca. This website aims to help you understand the joys of yacht charter in the Balearics, and to give you the information you need to have a fantastic sailing charter in Mallorca.
