Pollensa

marina on mallorca
Pollensa is a popular tourist resort with a strong English influence. There is a wide range of bars and restaurants, and it is usually possible to find something to everyone's taste.

Like so many towns on Mallorca, the town itself is built a short distance inland to help in the event of pirate attacks

The marina can hold nearly 400 berths and will usually have space for visiting yachts. There are anchorages to the north of the marina (although it is shallow at only 2-3 metres and holding is poor in places), or about a mile away under Punta de la Avanzada.
